David Newman

President

David brings over 28 years of experience in the legal industry, helping to make CORE Litigation Support, LLC one of the leading litigation support companies in the state of Michigan and throughout the U.S. Providing court reporting, video depositions, exhibit enlargements, trial presentations and more, David’s number one goal is client satisfaction. David is dedicated to providing firms with the highest quality litigation support services available. Because of David’s dedication, passion, and hard work, CORE Litigation Support has become one of Michigan’s premier litigation support services.

David enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, and is an avid fisherman.

Amy Carlson

Chief Operating Officer

Amy jumped on board in 2015 and has fast-tracked to COO due to her management and organizational skills. Amy came to CORE with over 15 years of managerial experience in the automotive industry and these skills have helped push the needle forward here at CORE. She has initiated annual charity events, not only to support the local community but also to promote positive team growth.

Amy is an avid camper and enjoys spending time with her family, as well as her Labrador.

Kimberly Golden

Chief Financial Officer + Court Reporter

Before joining CORE in 2011, Kim was a substitute for the official court reporters in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, and St. Clair counties. In 2011, Kim forced her way through the door as a court reporter and joined the office staff in 2015. She is a dedicated liaison to the reporters. She also is our go-to gal for any last-minute requests for a court reporter that come in, able to run out and cover the deposition.

Kimberly is the immediate Past President and current Senior Advisor for the Michigan Associate of Professional Court Reporters. She also enjoys sharing her passion by teaching court reporting and is an adjunct professor at Macomb Community College.

When Kimberly isn’t writing 225 wpm or slaving in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family. And if she’s really lucky and finds time, you can catch her on her Harley.

Jeremy Ramsden

Technology Department Manager

Jeremy has been with CORE since 2013. Jeremy graduated in the field of Digital Media, and he has continued to improve and expand technology of our services offered at CORE. Not only a videographer, Jeremy oversees the video team, working with clients to create trial boards, presentations, and other technology services for each client’s specific needs.

When not behind a camera or in court, Jeremy enjoys getting out in the woods, hiking and exploring new areas.

Alexander Thompson

Legal Videographer

Alex joined CORE in the summer of 2021. Alex graduated with his degree in Digital Media and has helped maintain the Core standard for quality and professionalism.

When not helping clients, Alex enjoys golfing, gaming, and traveling up north to camp and relax in his spare time.
